Natural Health Benefits of Honey!
The ingredients and properties of honey make it one of natures #1 healing remedies. Using honey to treat conditions is not new to the ages but is certainly new to many of us in the civilized western world. Interestingly, it was during WWII when antibiotic dressings were developed that people put honey on the kitchen table and no longer used it medicinally. Fortunately, we are coming back around to using honey for certain treatments.

Relief for allergy symptoms
Honey contains traces of pollen. Experts agree that liquid, unheated, local honey will familiarize the body to allergens and over time the symptoms will fall off. Look for a local beekeeper (Call the extension office) and start today with a teaspoon of honey daily and feel better naturally.
Burns, scrapes, wounds, bedsores, canker sores
Apply a bit of honey directly on the wound and cover it with a sterile bandage. For mouth sores, apply directly-no bandaging required.
Sore throats, respiratory symptoms
For quick relief of sore throats, take a spoonful of honey with a hearty squeeze of lemon juice or stir a spoonful into hot tea or hot lemonade.
Arthritis, MS, Pain associated with bone
Controversy surrounds this treatment, buy many have experienced relief and healing.Find an apitherapist or an experienced beekeeper and purposefully have a bee sting you directly on the point of pain.
